Meet Malani Sage Maycole — pronounced muh-LAH-nee, a name meaning “heavenly; from the sky,” which perfectly reflects her natural blend of softness, strength, and elevated vision. Malani is a driven, business-minded, fashion-focused student whose creativity and intention show up in everything she does.
She is currently pursuing a BBA in Entrepreneurship with a focus in textiles, merchandise, and apparel at Louisiana State University, spending this academic year studying abroad in Paris to deepen her understanding of global fashion, branding, and consumer behavior. Her time in Paris has given her a rare international perspective, allowing her to study how culture, storytelling, and design shape the way consumers interact with brands worldwide.
Even as a student, Malani is already building the foundation for the career she envisions — one where creativity and strategy work hand in hand. Fashion is one of her greatest passions, but she is equally open to opportunities in marketing, digital strategy, brand partnerships, and content creation. She brings a sharp eye for detail, an instinct for trends, and a genuine understanding of consumer connection.
What stands out most about Malani is not just what she has done, but the direction she’s headed. She is positioning herself for roles in fashion marketing, luxury branding, creative strategy, and digital storytelling, while remaining adaptable to industries beyond fashion that value innovation, narrative, and thoughtful brand-building.
Every experience she takes on — from international study to leadership roles and creative projects — is shaping her into a thoughtful, globally aware young professional. Her portfolio reflects her trajectory: someone preparing for a future defined by creativity, intentionality, and the limitless possibilities of branding and storytelling. Malani is the kind of emerging talent who isn’t just preparing to enter the industry — she’s preparing to elevate it.

Featured Look: The Golden Touch
Malani’s styled look was inspired by The Golden Touch, reimagined through a feminine lens. The concept centered on a sophisticated businesswoman who embodies control, power, and elegance. While the original tale warns of ambition becoming excess, Malani’s interpretation explored a different question: what if a woman possessed the golden touch? In her vision, it is wielded with intention, grace, and purpose. The look told the story of a woman who knows what she wants, moves with confidence, and transforms ambition into impact.
As an Entrepreneurship major with a minor in Textiles and Merchandising, Malani continues to explore the intersection of business and creativity through fashion, styling, and brand storytelling. This experience represents the beginning of a growing body of work that reflects her commitment to purposeful design and entrepreneurial expression.
